Terms of Service
1Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using QuitFree (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2Not medical advice
QuitFree is a self-help and habit-tracking tool. Nothing in the Service — including its milestones, health statistics, tips, breathing exercises, or any other content — is intended as, or should be taken as, professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- QuitFree is not a substitute for a qualified healthcare professional.
- It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition.
- Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read or saw in the Service.
3Your health is your responsibility
Quitting smoking and nicotine withdrawal can have physical and mental effects. You are solely responsible for your own health decisions and for how you use the Service.
- Consult a doctor before making major changes to your health routine.
- Seek professional guidance especially if you have a medical condition, are pregnant or nursing, or take medication.
- If you experience concerning symptoms, contact a qualified medical professional promptly.
4Assumption of risk
You use the Service at your own risk. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim to be helpful, we make no guarantee that the Service will always be accurate, complete, reliable, or error-free.
5No guarantee of results
QuitFree provides tracking, encouragement, and information. It does not and cannot guarantee any particular outcome, including successfully quitting smoking. Results vary from person to person and depend on many factors beyond the Service's control.
6Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators of QuitFree shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including any health consequences — arising from or connected with your use of, or inability to use, the Service. This includes reliance on any information provided within the Service.
7Payments (Creem)
Any paid upgrades are processed by Creem (creem.io), a third-party payment provider, and are subject to Creem's own terms. QuitFree does not process or store your payment details.
8Changes & termination
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We may also modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice.
